Oh yeah!

Oh! and BTW, the little button at the bottom of the blog that says "daydream believer" links to my favorite charity. Click it and check it out! ;-)

To-do...

Well, I got back to Lexington last night and have unpacked *ugh* I'm going out today to buy some new tennis shoes and all my school books. Should be an expensive day, yikes! I'm headed to John's Run Walk shop. They help you custom select running shoes for what you want to do with them and your anatomy. They even analyze your old shoes to see wear patterns! Since I've started running lately, I've been having pain in my arches and I hope that some new shoes (my old ones are practically disintegrating) will fix the problem. Well, wish me luck...my money is burning a hole in my pocket!

Jens Voigt: "I would have ridden a horse … "

Ok, sooooo, I checked facebook one last time before leaving. Haha! I came across this little gem! Oh how you capture my heart team Saxo bank!

Jens Voigt: "I would have ridden a horse … "

What to do...

Well, as my 3 weeks of summer obsession has ended I am at a loss for what to do with my time. The Tour de France is over and I am not a happy camper. You see, I'm completely Andy Schleck obsessed and second place just won't cut it for me.

Ain't he presh? BTW, those flowers are not for me unfortunately...

So in an effort to fill my time, I am bumping up my training in an effort for the Little Miami Triathlon on October 3rd. It consists of a 6 mile canoe, 5.5 mile run, and 18 mile bike. Yes, I said canoe. Don't really know how to train for that one. I'm thinking swim just in case of capsizing.

Also, heading back to school on Aug. 2nd should take my mind off things majorly. Dental school takes up pretty much every spare neuron in my brain. I get patients in September! Can't wait! Just call me Dr., yeah right. how about 1/4 DMD.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to being back, but will miss the company of my family. They've made the summer absolutely amazing and I undoubtedly will be a little more lonely back in my own house when I leave.

Off to the gym now, let's see how my canoeing training goes...
